What is "Tourq" ?

Do you know what is tourq because on my car's topic some people talk about tourq but i don't know what it means. Thanks For answering...

i dont really know how to explain it but it is the how fast the car gain speed or how fast it is the car gain speed in seconds

or like when you press Race how the car give you speed or how fast

torque
is the tendency of a force to rotate an object about an axis, torque is a measure of the turning force on an object such as a bolt or a flywheel.

having more torque for sure will be very good thing and very good acceleration but there is no relation with the top speed
if you focusing on of road you must consider more on the torque
if you drive on road focus on both but give more attention to the rpm for the top speed
the big block engines produce more torque, that why usually they used by the big foot cars
